Over 40 years of design, craftsmanship and innovation
To design high-quality jewellery that is a natural extension of the person wearing it is the basic philosophy behind every piece crafted by LEINFELDER GOLDSCHMIEDE. Our attractive shop is located in Munich’s most stylish shopping area at Theatinerstrasse 31. Our workshop and studio, located close to the Promenadenplatz, is the heart of LEINFELDER GOLDSCHMIEDE.
Our history: from LEINFELDER jewellery gallery to LEINFELDER GOLDSCHMIEDE.
In 1963, Erwin LEINFELDER brought the silver jewellery collection "Kaunis koru" (trans: beautiful jewellery) back from Finland to Munich and opened Germany’s very first jewellery gallery. His daughter, Stephanie, had joined the family company several years previously. Martin Mandl designed and made select pieces of jewellery for the jewellery gallery. As the demand for exquisite bespoke pieces rose, the company adapted its range and prepared itself to hand over to the next generation.
The team
Stephanie Wolf (née LEINFELDER) has run the jewellery shop in Theatinerstrasse since 1998. Together with her husband, Titus Wolf , winner of the Master Prize 1996 and a renowned specialist in diamonds and precious stones, and Martin Mandl, the creative, innovative jewellery designer, she manages the flourishing, expanding company. United by a true friendship, these three personalities complement each other perfectly.
Craftsmanship
The creative trio of goldsmiths behind LEINFELDER had a vision of establishing a creative studio, steeped in a very personal style. This dream has come true with the LEINFELDER WERKSTATT, a beautiful studio workshop with a striking Mediterranean ambience. Planned and built according to the team’s own designs, and shaped by the LEINFELDER philosophy, every detail in the studio speaks LEINFELDER’s distinctive design language. The jewels, architecture, furniture, doors and cabinets – all of these custom-made pieces sum up the LEINFELDER vision.

At LEINFELDER traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern technology. The master craftsmen work with vices, lathes and mandrels. Machines over 100 years old stand next to the very latest laser welding equipment.
The LEINFELDER style – classic and avant-garde
LEINFELDER’s designs are smooth, soft, elegant and clear. Our design vision is inspired by artistic and architectural styles throughout history. Jewels with ebony have a graphic stringency, volute rings feature baroque curves, and the Insignia collection uses pure geometry to stylish effect. The settings underscore the magnificent gems, emphasizing their unique beauty. These timelessly beautiful jewels eschew short-lived trends. As well as LEINFELDER’s own designs, our master craftsmen can also make custom-made pieces to your specifications.
